I can’t tell you exactly when I decided I was going to pursue the Miss Universe title. It was like I woke up one day with the seed already planted inside of my head. I had not watched competitions since childhood, I didn’t even know who any of the Miss Universe titleholders were. I am not exactly sure how I even remembered this competition.
But here I am today, working as hard as I can in every possible way to achieve my best self, and win the title.
I want to win Miss Universe for reasons that are bigger than myself. I guess I have been through a lot, and want to share my stories with the world in hopes they might inspire others. I know I’m not alone – there must be people like me out there who could use an inspirational story to help get them out of whatever negative emotions they’re feeling.
I know how much I once suffered, from depression, anxiety, feelings of low self-worth. But ever since Australia, these feelings have dissipated, and have been relaxed with gratitude, positivity, hope, and a belief in big dreams.
These traits have further flourished now as I prepare for Miss Universe. It’s truly amazing how this competition forces you to evaluate your strengths, weaknesses, goals and dreams to put your best foot forward not only for the pageant, but for life in general.
I am beyond excited to compete in this years competition, and will be sharing a lot of my experiences here on this blog to archive my journey and document my struggles and successes.
So please keep an eye out for posts coming your way soon!
